First you should install Miniforge by following our regular installations :ref:`here `. This will also install Visual Studio Code and the default packages for this years polytechnical foundation courses. These can co-exist, so do not worry about that. Once you have a functional Miniforge installation, you should create a new environment that hosts the packages for this course: .. code-block:: bash conda create --name F01002 python=3.11 conda activate F01002 conda intsall dtumathtools pandas scipy statsmodels uncertainties -y This will install all required packages into the environment named `F01002`. And everytime you need to use the packages compatible for this course, you have to activate it. For more information on environments, please see :ref:`here `.
